Chungju Characters

As I’m in de-mob mode I’m spending more time pottering around locally and the trips to Seoul may be less frequent. Also my study trip to do CELTA in Chiang Mair rears its head in January so pulling the pennies together. It is becoming increasingly irritating dealing with the day-to-day grind here, the pretence of über activity, the disingenuous friendships and the disillusion that SK has an international relevance. In saying that I am appreciating the characters who graft every day to chip out a living. The old ones have seen war and famine in the last 60 years the newer generations pay homage to surgery and cosmetics.  I will NOT miss the irony!
